MESA, AZ, UNITED STATES, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Polaris Academy Foundation is preparing to welcome community leaders, supporters, and advocates to its annual Polaris Among the Stars gala on October 22, 2026, an evening dedicated to celebrating progress, building community and expanding opportunities for autistic and neurodivergent children throughout the Valley.
The Polaris Academy Foundation was created to help build a future in which autistic and neurodivergent children have access to environments, resources and opportunities designed around the ways they learn, grow and experience the world. Through community partnerships and generous donor support, the Foundation helps provide academic, social, life-skill and community resources while supporting innovative learning environments and programs for neurodivergent students.
“We believe every child deserves more than a place to attend school… they deserve a place where people see their potential and are willing to invest in their future,” said Nathan Palmer, Founder of Polaris Academy and Director of the Polaris Academy Foundation. “When our community comes together behind these students, we can create opportunities that once felt out of reach. That is what this Foundation is about: turning generosity into real resources, real experiences and greater independence for the children and families we serve.”
One example of that impact can now be seen at Polaris Academy at Usery Pass, which serves neurodivergent students in grades 7–12.
Through generous contributions to the Foundation, students now have access to advanced driving simulators designed to help them practice the skills involved in navigating real-world driving situations in a controlled environment. The simulators give students an opportunity to build familiarity, confidence and practical skills as they prepare for greater independence beyond the classroom.
For the Foundation, investments like these represent something much larger than equipment.
They represent possibility.
“A donation to the Foundation has the power to become something tangible in a young person’s life,” said Brad Broyles, Co-Founder of Polaris Academy. “It can become a new skill, a moment of confidence, an opportunity for independence or an experience a student may not otherwise have had. That mission extends beyond a single campus. Polaris Academy Foundation works to support innovative educational environments, strengthen resources available to families and educators, encourage collaboration within the community, and advance opportunities for autistic and neurodivergent children to develop confidence, independence and meaningful life skills.
