LODI, CA, UNITED STATES, September 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Lodi Grape Festival, presented by Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center, opens Thursday, September 17 with a strong lineup of live entertainment planned throughout the weekend, including four nights of free concerts. Country music star Rodney Atkins will be taking the Sky River Casino Stage on Saturday, September 19 and 80’s favorite A Flock of Seagulls will be opening the event on Thursday, September 17. Friday’s free concert features Dream Like Taylor, a top-notch Taylor Swift Tribute, and a Travis Kelce Lookalike Contest will be kicking off the show at 7:00 pm. Sunday’s headlining bands include Grupo Bryndis with Ezequiel Pena Jr. Y Banda Vallerta. All concerts are free with fair admission. Seating is first come, first serve. All concerts start at 7:30 pm with the exception of Sunday’s show which begins at 6:00 pm.

Opening up the free concert series on Thursday, September 17 is A Flock of Seagulls. As well-known for their bizarrely teased haircuts as their hit single “I Ran (So Far Away),” A Flock of Seagulls was one of the MTV video rotation staples of the new wave era. Known hits include “Space Age Love Song,” “Telecommunication,” and “Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You.”

Saturday’s musical star is country musician Rodney Atkins. With over 14 million records sold, over 1.5 billion on-demand streams, and multiple #1 hits, Atkins has become a backbone of country. Popular hits include “Take a Back Road,” “Watching You,” “Farmer’s Daughter,” “He’s Mine” and more.

Taylor Swift Tribute “Dream Like Taylor” featuring the voice of Cassie B will take the Sky River Casino Stage on Friday, September 18. This isn’t just a tribute; it’s a celebration of the songs that have become the soundtrack to so many lives, from the first notes of Love Story to the empowering beats of Shake It Off! Featuring iconic hits like Blank Space, You Belong With Me, Look What You Made Me Do, and Wildest Dreams, get ready for a night that will leave you enchanted! Wrapping up the free concert series on Sunday, September 20 are co-headliners Grupo Bryndis and Ezequiel Peña Jr. Y Banda Vallarta. Known for their romantic grupero sounds and fan-favorite hits, Grupo Bryndis will join Ezequiel Peña Jr. Y Banda Vallarta for a night of romantic and high-energy music in closing out the 2026 Lodi Grape Festival free concert series on the Sky River Casino Stage.

All concerts are free to attend with fair admission. No additional ticket is required to attend the shows. Seating is first come, first serve. All concerts start at 7:30 pm with the exception of Sunday’s show, which begins at 6:00 pm.

The live music is only a portion of the great entertainment found at the Lodi Grape Festival. For over 80 years the people in San Joaquin County have been gathering to celebrate the grape harvest at the annual Lodi Grape Festival. What started out as a small food festival in downtown Lodi has now evolved into a four day event filled with great entertainment, food, vendors, grape and commodity murals, competitive exhibits, carnival rides and games, and so much more.

This year’s fair theme is “Out of this World.” The Lodi Grape Festival and Event Center is just 45 miles south of Sacramento in the northern portion of the San Joaquin Valley. The 2026 Lodi Grape Festival is Presented by Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center.

Discounted pre-sale tickets and carnival wristbands are available through close of business Wednesday, September 16. Pre-sale fair admission is $8 per person, and unlimited carnival ride wristbands are $30 and valid for unlimited rides any one day of the festival.

Beginning Thursday, September 17, regular fair admission is $15 for adults ages 13 and older and $10 for youth ages 6-12. Children ages 5 and under are free. Unlimited ride wristbands are $25 on Thursday only when purchased at the carnival ticket boxes and $38 Friday through Sunday.

Tickets may be purchased online at www.grapefestival.com. To avoid online convenience fees, pre-sale tickets and carnival wristbands may also be purchased in person at Food 4 Less and Rancho San Miguel in Lodi; Food 4 Less on Wilson Way in Stockton; Rancho San Miguel on Airport Way or Hammer Lane in Stockton; or the Lodi Grape Festival office at 413 E. Lockeford St., Lodi through end of business day on Wednesday, September 16.

Parking is $12 credit or debit card only in all official festival parking lots. Cash will not be accepted as a form of payment.

There are daily admission specials on all four days of the fair:
Thursday, September 17 — Clark Pest Control Value Day: Kids 16 and under receive free admission all day, and unlimited carnival wristbands are available for $25 at the carnival
Friday, September 18 — California Waste Recovery Systems Free til’ 5 Day: Everyone receives free admission from noon to 5 p.m.
Saturday, September 19 — F & M Bank Community Day: Taco Bell presents Two for $2 til’ 2 p.m. Bring two cans of food to donate to the Lodi Salvation Army and receive admission for $2 from noon to 2 p.m.
Sunday, September 20 — Habanero Hots Variety is the Spice of Life Day: Taco Bell presents Two for $2 til’ 2 p.m. Bring two cans of food to donate to the Lodi Salvation Army and receive admission for $2 from noon to 2 p.m.
