BOSTON and RESTON, Va., Aug. 27, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Posit, the enterprise data science company, and Carahsoft Technology Corp., The Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider®, today announced a partnership that makes Posit’s data science platform available to Public Sector agencies through established procurement contracts. Under the agreement, Carahsoft will serve as Posit’s Master Government Aggregator®, distributing Posit’s solutions through its reseller partners and NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V and OMNIA Partners contracts.
Why the Posit and Carahsoft partnership matters
Government agencies increasingly depend on data science to inform decisions and deliver services. The open source languages R and Python are widely used across the Public Sector and agencies often encounter procurement hurdles when adopting the commercial tools that run those languages securely and at scale. The Posit and Carahsoft partnership addresses that gap by placing Posit’s platform on contract vehicles agencies already hold.
