BioTek reMEDys manages complex, high-touch therapies, including biologics and biotherapeutics, where verifying patient coverage and benefits is a critical step in getting patients access to treatment. The process requires teams to review thousands of incoming documents, create and update patient profiles, verify insurance information and contact payers by phone.
BioTek reMEDys is deploying TJM Labs AI agents across this workflow, beginning with processing incoming patient documentation and creating patient profiles within its pharmacy management system. TJM Labs AI agents are currently processing over 4,500 patient records per week for the specialty pharmacy, reducing the amount of manual work required to review incoming information and create patient profiles.
As part of the initiative, BioTek reMEDys has also selected TJM Labs Voice AI to support outbound phone calls for benefits verification with payers. The Voice AI capability is designed to automate calls to verify patient eligibility and benefits, helping BioTek reMEDys improve the speed and consistency of benefits data collection while gaining greater control over the verification process.
