The anniversary celebration brought together over 200 guests, including elected officials, customers, business partners, community leaders, and team members to recognize the company’s achievements and look toward the future. The event features remarks from Toyota Boshoku America President & CEO Shunichi Iwamori and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who attended as a featured speaker.

Established in 2001, Toyota Boshoku America serves as the regional headquarters for Toyota Boshoku Corporation’s operations across North and South America. Over the past 25 years, TBA has expanded its footprint throughout the region, supporting customers through manufacturing, engineering, innovation, and corporate functions while fostering strong relationships with local communities and stakeholders.

Today, TBA and its affiliated companies employ more than 14,000 team members across operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina, producing advanced automotive interior systems, filtration products, and powertrain components for leading automotive manufacturers.

Toyota Boshoku’s heritage stretches back more than a century to its founding in 1918 by Sakichi Toyoda. Celebrating 25 Years of Milestones

  • 2001 – Araco America Inc. was established, marking an important step in the company’s regional presence in the Americas. Following the 2005 merger of Toyodabo America, Inc., Takanichi-USA Inc., and Araco America Inc. the organization evolved into Toyota Boshoku America as part of Toyota Boshoku Corporation’s expanded global automotive interiors and components business.
