According to the internal data, Greycoat Research recorded an 8.5-fold increase in U.S. sales from 2024 to 2025, with strong momentum continuing through June 2026. The U.S. now accounts for 67% of international sales, making it the company’s largest overseas market.
At SUPERZOO, Greycoat Research will feature Greycoat Dr. Toru, an AIM-based capsule supplement, and Greycoat AIM Bites, palatable low-protein treats designed for easy daily feeding. The Cat Kidney Store brings specialized supplements, low-protein treats, and practical nutrition guidance together to make daily kidney care easier.
Greycoat Research’s product development is based on Japanese research into AIM (apoptosis inhibitor of macrophage), a protein that has been studied for its potential role in feline kidney health. The company’s multidisciplinary team includes veterinarians, pharmacists, biology researchers, and veterinary nutrition experts.
Greycoat Research began with TT, the cat featured on Claire Luvcat, a YouTube channel with 1.3 million subscribers worldwide. Eight years ago, TT was diagnosed with Stage 2 chronic kidney disease. With consistent nutritional management and daily care, TT’s kidney health improved and has remained stable ever since.
That journey became the foundation of Greycoat Research. What started with one cat has grown to support more than 10,000 cats worldwide.
With South Korea and Japan as its core markets, Greycoat Research has sold over 100,000 units across 33 countries and completed over 5,000 specialized consultations for cats with chronic kidney disease.
Claire Yun, CEO of Greycoat Research, said, “Our journey began with TT and a simple goal—helping more cats with kidney disease live healthier and happier lives.” She added, “Eight years later, that commitment continues to shape everything we do. SUPERZOO marks our next step in bringing that mission to more cats and building trusted, long-term partnerships across North America.”
