Nathan Bazzle, MCMEA, releases a free guide to closing the equipment valuation gap in $2M-$5M business sales.
Indianapolis, IN (PRUnderground) November 3rd, 2026

Nathan Bazzle, a Master Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser — one of fewer than 30 in the United States — has released a free 12-page guide addressing a recurring problem in business sales involving equipment-heavy operations: buyers and sellers rarely agree on what the equipment is actually worth, and the gap can stall or kill a deal.
The guide, “The Equipment Number in a Business Sale,” is built for transactions in the $2 million to $5 million range — machine shops, fabricators, and similar operations where equipment makes up a meaningful share of the purchase price. It’s written to be handed to either side of a deal, before or after it goes under agreement, without favoring buyer or seller.
“Everybody in that negotiation has a number for the equipment. Usually it’s three different numbers, and nobody wants to be the one who’s wrong,” Bazzle said.
Bazzle has appraised equipment across mining, oil and gas, aggregate, heavy construction, and industrial manufacturing for more than 20 years, with more than 900 completed appraisals.
The guide is available as a free download at bazzleassets.com/field-guide/.
