SafelyYou, the comprehensive AI platform for elevating care across the senior living industry, has announced continued growth in its partnership with Merrill Gardens, a respected senior living operator with 56 communities across 16 states. Merrill Gardens now has 30 communities live with SafelyYou, including 10 that launched in 2026.
The expansion builds on a relationship grounded in clinical outcomes and staff engagement.
A partnership that has grown community by community.
Merrill Gardens has been a SafelyYou partner since 2019, and its footprint has expanded steadily each year since. Eleven communities went live in 2025, followed by 10 in 2026. Each launch followed the same pattern: After seeing what consistent clinical team engagement and highly accurate fall detection could do for residents and staff, Merrill Gardens chose to deploy SafelyYou to more communities.
Merrill Gardens communities use SafelyYou as part of everyday care. Care teams at Merrill Gardens participate consistently in Care Huddles, collaborative sessions where on-site staff meet with SafelyYou’s remote clinicians to review resident risk, develop care plans, and agree on interventions.
SafelyYou’s clinical success team has played a central role in that rhythm. The team’s physical therapists, occupational therapists, and registered nurses have reviewed hundreds of thousands of fall events, and they bring that experience to each conversation with Merrill Gardens staff.
What proactive care looks like in practice.
After a fall, Merrill Gardens staff can review clear video of the moments before, during, and after the event, so the team can see whether footwear, an environmental hazard, or mobility aid placement played a role. Then, in Care Huddles, staff and clinicians turn those findings into specific changes to a resident’s care plan, so interventions happen earlier.
Over time, community leaders can track fall patterns across fifty clinical data parameters, including fall level, time of day, and self-recovery ability, and focus attention where residents need it most. That depth of engagement is what drives continued growth. When staff see a clear link between a Care Huddle and a change in resident care, they bring the next conversation to the table, and operators invest further.
Clinical partnership as a growth driver.
SafelyYou’s clinical partnership model rests on consistent engagement with community staff, transparent outcome data, and a genuine commitment to resident wellbeing. At Merrill Gardens, that model shows up in the details: the huddles that happen on schedule, the interventions that follow, and the care teams who own the process.
Jason Childers, Chief Operating Officer at Merrill Gardens, said, “Our teams bring real curiosity to every Care Huddle. Seeing what happened, talking it through with SafelyYou’s clinicians, and changing how we support a resident is now part of how our communities operate. That is why we keep bringing SafelyYou to new Merrill Gardens communities.”
SafelyYou founder and CEO George Netscher said, “This partnership started with a community that wanted better outcomes for its residents. What we’ve built over the course of that partnership is designed to deliver on that promise.”
