Divan Furniture Enters First Holiday Season With Two Dayton-Area Showrooms

Family-owned Turkish furniture retailer serves holiday hosts from Huber Heights and a second showroom in a former OfficeMax space at South Towne Centre.

DAYTON, OH, UNITED STATES, October 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Divan Furniture, a family-owned retailer of Turkish furniture, is entering its first holiday season with two Dayton-area showrooms, giving local families more places to shop as they prepare their homes for guests. The company operates showrooms at 6660 Brandt Pike in Huber Heights and at 2090 Miamisburg
Centerville Road in Dayton, in the Miami Township area.

A second showroom in a short space
WDTN reported in early 2026 that the Huber Heights-based retailer had opened its second location in Montgomery County, at South Towne Centre, and began listing the new address on social media on February 28. The space was previously occupied by OfficeMax, which closed more than a decade ago, and had since been used only occasionally by temporary seasonal retailers.

The second showroom places Divan closer to shoppers on the south side of the Dayton area, while the original Huber Heights location continues to serve the north.

A family business built on Turkish craftsmanship

Divan Furniture describes itself as a family-owned business that brings Turkish quality furniture to customers through its online store and its showrooms, built on generations of experience. Its collections draw on Turkey’s furniture-making tradition. In the company’s words, they “combine elegant design, premium materials, and skilled workmanship”.

“As a family business, we take pride in building long-term relationships with our customers and standing behind every piece we sell,” the company states.
Part of the range comes from Istikbal, one of Turkey’s best-known furniture makers. Istikbal was founded in 1957 in a small carpenter’s workshop in Kayseri, Turkey, and Furniture Today has described it as Turkey’s largest manufacturer of furniture and mattresses. Bellona, whose name also appears in Divan’s range, has historically been part of the same Turkish furniture group.

Living rooms ready for the holidays

Among furniture stores in Dayton, Ohio, Divan focuses on modern Turkish design across every main room of the home. Its living room department includes Turkish-crafted living room sets, sectionals, sofas and loveseats, accent chairs, coffee tables, and end and side tables. Featured collections include the Urla Living Room Set, which the company describes as offering soft tones and spacious seating, along with the Senfoni and Veronica living room collections.

For families hosting overnight guests, Divan carries convertible seating that doubles as a bed. Its featured living room pieces include the Royals Convertible Sofa and the Bellona Istikbal Mocca Convertible Sleeper Sectional. In a guide published in October 2026, the company explains that an extendable sofa can add depth, lounging space or a guest bed, then return to its normal size.

The mattress department adds further options for visitors, including folding beds and high-riser beds, alongside mattresses in plush, medium and firm feels across memory foam, innerspring and hybrid designs.

Beyond the living room, Divan’s collections cover dining room sets, dining tables and chairs, buffets and sideboards, bedroom sets, storage beds, dressers, nightstands, wardrobes, area rugs and runners.

Design help and financing

Divan offers home design and styling services that range from furniture upgrades to wall and floor renovation designs. The company says it works with manufacturers in the United States and around the world, and that each design project is personalized to the way a household lives, whether it covers one room or a whole home.

Shoppers can also use furniture financing through Synchrony, subject to credit approval. According to the company’s website, applicants receive a decision within minutes, and the credit can be used both in store and online.

Customer reviews published on Divan’s website highlight the staff’s helpful, low-pressure approach and the way the collections blend modern European and Turkish design.

Preparing a living room for guests

For families furnishing a living room before the holidays, a few practical steps help. Measure walls, doorways and hallways before shopping, so new pieces fit both the room and the route into the house. Plan seating for the largest group expected, and decide whether a sectional, a sofa and loveseat, or a full living room set suits the space. Where guests will stay overnight, a convertible sofa or sleeper sectional can replace a dedicated guest bed. Easy-clean upholstery also helps a busy family room cope with holiday meals and visitors.

Visiting the showrooms

Both showrooms display the company’s living room, dining room, bedroom and mattress collections. Business for the Huber Heights showroom open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Customers can reach the team at (973) 931-3202 or cs@divanfurnitureusa.com.
