“We are so grateful for the community that continues to show up for our family and this mission,” said Dr. Steve Johnston, co-founder of A Race Against Blindness. “These fundraisers give us a unique way to bring people together around something exciting. Every person who participates helps us fund the research that can lead to treatments and cures for inherited retinal diseases.”

Last year’s Yukon AT4 fundraiser became one of the charity’s most successful and memorable campaigns, culminating in an unforgettable Winner Day with Charlotte and Clyde of Illinois.  “Watching their reaction and getting to share that day with them was something our team won’t forget,” Johnston said.  Watch Charlotte & Clyde’s Winner Day.

This year’s fundraiser features a 2026 GMC Yukon Denali, known for luxury, refinement, technology, and comfort while maintaining the capability families need for road trips and towing.

Paired with the Denali is the Grand Design Serenova 160LG, a lightweight travel trailer designed to make camping and weekend escapes comfortable and approachable. Its modern interior, panoramic windows, and thoughtful layout combine the freedom of camping with many of the comforts of home. This year’s Serenova also features an upgraded 3,000-watt inverter and 200 Ah lithium battery system for added flexibility while traveling.

“We hope this campaign inspires families to dream about their own adventures while helping us build a future where children like Luke have treatments that can preserve their sight,” Johnston said.
