Leveraging over two decades of industry leadership experience, Porrazzo joins the leadership team of the combined organization to support Tower and Claimify’s ongoing commitment to exceptional thought leadership, technology-enabled regulatory compliance, client service, and operational excellence. He will work closely with the existing leadership team to provide thought leadership and help existing clients navigate complex Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) and Social Security disability issues.

“Lou is one of the most respected professionals in the MSP compliance industry,” said Kristine Dudley, Tower’s Chief Operating Officer. “His extensive compliance experience, combined with his thoughtful approach to solving complex claims issues, makes him an outstanding addition to our executive team.”

Porrazzo is an attorney licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where he has represented employers, insurers, self-insured organizations, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation and liability matters. Prior to joining Tower, Porrazzo served as Vice President of National Accounts at ExamWorks Compliance Solutions, where he worked with clients across the workers’ compensation and insurance industries.

“I am excited to join the leadership team of the combined organization. Tower is a market-leading provider of innovative solutions for the complex claims industry, focused on delivering outstanding MSP compliance and settlement solutions to self-insured enterprises, carriers, and TPAs, including Section 111 reporting, MSAs, and Conditional Payment solutions,” said Porrazzo. “Likewise, Claimify is a technology leader in transforming the complex Social Security process to benefit carriers, self-insured enterprises, TPAs, and claimants. The two companies perfectly complement each other.”

In addition to his professional background, Porrazzo is actively involved in industry organizations such as The National MSP Network, the Massachusetts RIMS Chapter, and Kids’ Chance of Massachusetts, where he serves as the Chair of the Fundraising Committee. He is also a Medicare Set-Aside Certified Consultant.

“Lou has a remarkable ability to translate evolving MSP regulatory requirements into practical solutions for clients,” Dan Anders, Tower’s Chief Compliance Officer, said. “His leadership and industry knowledge will strengthen the counsel and guidance we provide while supporting our continued commitment to excellence.”

Earlier this summer, the company released the first-of-its-kind Workers’ Compensation Medicare Secondary Payer Outcomes & Regulatory Insights Report, demonstrating that MSP strategy can lead to significant benefits such as better control over allocated medications, quicker CMS MSA approval times, and an overall lower allocation for future medical care.
