NEWTOWN, Pa., Aug. 07, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Edelson Lechtzin LLP, a national class action law firm, is investigating a data breach affecting Everside Health, a direct primary care provider that offers employer- and union-sponsored healthcare services. The breach occurred at Aesto LLC, a third-party vendor that handled healthcare data migration and archiving and was storing protected health information on Everside Health’s behalf. Affected individuals may face an increased risk of identity theft and fraud, and may have legal options.

What happened

On or about December 18, 2025, Aesto experienced a network security incident affecting part of its Amazon Web Services infrastructure. After a forensic investigation, Aesto confirmed on May 26, 2026 — more than five months later — that between December 2 and December 18, 2025, protected health information may have been accessed or acquired by an unauthorized actor.

The information potentially exposed includes full names, dates of birth, addresses, Social Security numbers, and medical and health records.

Aesto disclosed the breach to the Attorneys General of California, Massachusetts, South Carolina, and Texas beginning July 31, 2026. The nationwide total has not been publicly disclosed, but the filings identify at least 80,622 South Carolina residents, 22,210 Texas residents, and 1,562 Massachusetts residents as affected.
