Anesthesia Groups Are Doing More and Getting Paid Less. Accreda, a Cosentus Division, Brings a Better Way to ANESTHESIOLOGY® 2026

Anesthesia teams keep patients safe through some of the most critical moments of their care. Yet many of the groups behind that work are under more financial pressure than ever, and much of it has nothing to do with the care itself.
Medicare pays anesthesia groups a fraction of what commercial insurers pay for the same care. Payers are scrutinizing anesthesia time, modifiers and medical direction more closely, and claims that should be paid are denied or underpaid. Federal workforce projections show the U.S. could be short more than 10,000 anesthesiologists by 2036. Meanwhile, the people who should be focused on patients are chasing paperwork.
Accreda, the anesthesia revenue cycle management division of Cosentus, was built to lift that burden. The Accreda team will meet with anesthesia leaders at Booth #2209 in the Exhibit Hall at ANESTHESIOLOGY 2026 in San Diego.
“Anesthesia groups give so much to their patients, and too often they are not paid fairly for it,” said GS Bhalla, Co-Founder and CEO of Cosentus. “When every case is captured, coded correctly and paid in full, clinicians can get back to what matters most: caring for patients.”
Accreda works only in anesthesia. Its specialists are supported by Zeus Health, the AI-native revenue cycle engine developed by Cosentus, which checks every claim before it goes out so denials are prevented, not just worked after the fact. Accreda clients have increased collections by 10 to 30% on average.*
“Anesthesia groups shouldn’t have to choose between growing their practice and getting paid for the work they already do,” said Mark Wines, Chief Growth Officer of Cosentus. “We’re coming to San Diego to listen, and to show groups how much revenue they can recover when their revenue cycle finally works for them.”
Attendees can meet Thomas Wilson, Vice President of Sales; Laurie Allen, Vice President of Anesthesia Operations; Joseph Demory, Director of Anesthesia Services; and Cyndie Clifton, Senior AR Manager. The Exhibit Hall is open October 17 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and October 19 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. To schedule a meeting, email grow@cosentus.com.
